Sensory Signs and Symptoms of Exploding Head Syndrome
In addition to the auditory hallucinations, individuals with Exploding Head Syndrome may also experience sensory signs and symptoms. These may include a feeling of tingling or vibrating sensations in the head, neck, or limbs, as well as brief episodes of dizziness or lightheadedness. Some individuals may also perceive a sudden and intense pressure in their head, which can be accompanied by a temporary loss of hearing. These sensory manifestations can be distressing and contribute to the overall disorientation experienced during an episode of Exploding Head Syndrome.
