Factors Contributing to Morton’s Neuroma

There are several factors that can contribute to the development of Morton’s Neuroma. One of the most common causes is wearing tight, narrow shoes that squeeze the toes together. This can put pressure on the nerves and lead to the formation of a neuroma. Other causes may include activities that involve repetitive pressure on the forefoot, such as running or jumping. Additionally, foot deformities, such as high arches or flat feet, can increase the risk of developing Morton’s Neuroma.
