Reasons for Piriformis Syndrome’s Occurrence

Piriformis Syndrome is primarily caused by the irritation or compression of the piriformis muscle. The most common cause of this irritation is the tightening or spasming of the piriformis muscle itself. When the muscle tightens or spasms, it can exert pressure on the nearby sciatic nerve, causing pain and discomfort.
